Welcome to Saturday Stories! This is a new series of weekly posts where I give an overview of all the wonderful, infuriating, entertaining and downright interesting things that I’ve come across recently and/or over the week. I might not necessarily agree with all the points of view here, but if they’re featured, I think they say something worth discussing.

FEMINISM
Here’s an article about the psychology of objectification, and how our brains tend to proccess images of men and women differently.
In case you’d forgotten how batshit crazy the modern world is, this girl could go to jail for naming the guys that sexually assaulted her.
Read this interesting article arguing why Marvel and DC will never truly target women because they view it as a zero sum game.
FOOD
Pappa Al Pomodoro -This is my new favourite recipe. (Especially great when you add butter beans for a smidge of protein, too. They go all garlicky and soft and it makes me melt inside).
Everyone should have a Single Cupcake recipe for those late night cravings.
HOW TO’S
How to Create A Vision Board For Business on Pinterest
The Homebrew Videomaker gives clear, concise advice to all kinds of video-artists from youtube bloggers to movie directors.
GAMES
Some guy built the Hornet, a submachine gun from Mass effect, also the lady modelling it has a freakish resemblance to Samara.
I have mixed feelings over the possibility of a Mass Effect Movie (which apparently has been a possibility for a long time). On the one hand I’d love for non-gamers (like my Mum) to be able to experience the awesome story, on the other, watching white Broshep onscreen making decisions without me would be weird.
Screenshots from upcoming game “Transformers: Fall of Cybertron” look freaking awesome. Could Transformers fans finally get a new Transformers experience that isn’t reminiscent of slowly pushing your hand into a shredder? Looking at you, Michael Bay.
